Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account: your email address, your password (stored only as a secure hash by our authentication provider), your display name and your preferred language.
• Learning activity: your enrollments, lesson progress, quiz and assignment submissions, feedback and grades, and certificates.
• AI tools: the goals and details you enter into Prompt Builder and Website Builder, and the results generated for you. They are kept in your account so you can reuse them. We also keep usage counts and your credit balance.
• Payments: payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. We keep a Stripe reference for your customer and subscription, what you bought, the amount and the date.
• Messages you send us: the contact form, mentoring requests and enrollment requests (your name, email and message).
• Technical data: your sign-in session, and error logs that do not contain your password or the content of what you typed into forms.

Why we use it

To run your account and the Academy, deliver and bill for what you buy, send you account and billing emails, provide the AI tools, answer your messages, keep the service secure (for example by limiting repeated sign-in attempts) and fix problems.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies: your sign-in session, your language choice and your light/dark preference. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.

Who we share it with

We use service providers who process data on our behalf, only to run the platform:

• Supabase — database and authentication.
• Hostinger — website hosting.
• Stripe — payments.
• Google and Anthropic — AI models. The text you submit to an AI tool is sent to them to generate your result.
• Resend — email delivery: notifications to our team, and account or billing emails to you.

Our providers may process data in other countries. We do not sell your personal information.

AI tools

When you use an AI tool, the text you enter is sent to an AI provider to produce the result. Do not enter passwords, payment details or sensitive personal information into an AI tool. AI results can be wrong or incomplete, so review them before you rely on them.

How long we keep it

We keep your information while your account exists. When your account is deleted we remove your personal data, except records we must keep for legal or accounting reasons, such as proof of payments. Backups are overwritten on a regular cycle.

Your choices and rights

You can see and edit your name and language in Settings. You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account at any time — use “Delete account” in Settings, or contact us. We aim to act on deletion requests within 30 days.

Security

Access controls make sure you can only see your own records, connections are encrypted, and sign-in attempts are rate-limited. No online service is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.

Children

Tekistan.ai is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
